Can you remove all trees?

-Yes we can, so how do we know WHEN to remove a tree?Common reasons include:The tree is dead or dyingA tree becomes in danger of falling, because of age or diseaseIt's crowding or causing harm to more desirable treesStorms damaged the trees beyond salvageTrees are too close to a house or utility linesNew construction may stress the tree(s) beyond salvage

Will there be a stump after my tree is removed?

-Yes, unless previously negotiated with your Arborist. Stumps can be killed with a topical solution or powder added. They can also be chipped away with a stump grinder, or pulled out with machinery such as a tractor.

What is stump grinding?

-It is the process of chipping away at an IN-Ground stump, and making it exist below soil levelONLY. Basically, we do away with the existing stump in your yard, making this area available to use as a yard again. A very small tractor is used to chip away at the stump.

When should I consider trimming?

- Many variables are to be considered before trimming, including Season of year, species oftree, and nearby hazards, such as known disease in the area. Most people ask this question toavoid harming the tree, or infecting it with disease such as Oak Wilt. Professional trimming requires knowledge of each variety and proper techniques. At Rooted In Texas Tree Care, we go beyond the goal of financial gain, and steer our customers into better decision making when it comes to Trimming. "It's Ridiculous How Much We Love Trees"

Why should I trim my trees?

-Proper pruning enhances their overall appearance and strength, while Removing hazardous branches can prevent injury or property damage. With fast growing trees especially, you will want all branches away from your home, streets, sidewalks, and utility lines to avoid unnecessary problems.

Is cleanup included with our service?

-Yes, we always leave the job site as clean or cleaner than when we arrived. The only debris we leave behind is after a stump grind, but this mulch is an aid to help the yard recover from the trauma of losing a tree. As the roots underground decompose and collapse, a small pile of mulch is left behind to help avoid the ground from sinking in. This will all be discussed with your arborist.

Can I keep the wood after you cut the trees down?

-Yes, we are happy to provide you with sections for firewood purposes or any other reasons. If the customer does not prefer keeping any wood, it will all be repurposed through mulch orBiochar efforts.

Do you do lot clearing?

-Yes, we have the manpower, machinery and tools, that will allow us to do any size job.

Do you do same day service?

-Yes, emergency service is offered to any customer.

Do I need to be home at time of service?

-No. Sometimes people want to be there and sometimes not, after all, we have an expert eyeand do what is best for the tree at all times.

Why do you cut so much off the trees?

-It depends on what is needed, but most of the time we try to only remove up to 20-25% of thefoliage. Depending on tree type and size, there are several types of desired trimming methodsarborists will use;Crown cleaning.Crown thinning.Crown raising.Crown reduction.Crown restoration.Espalier pruning.Vista pruning.

What should I look for in a Company when needing tree services?

-Many factors are to be considered.1. Neat in appearance. If you see a contractor that seems to have trouble taking care ofhim/herself, why trust something as important as your house or trees to someone like that?2. being punctual. All situations are different, but why not get a clear understanding of yourarborists time management skills. If they seem in a hurry, wait to hire! This isn't a job thatshould be rushed. If they seem to have an abundance of free time, wait to hire!3. being insured. No contractor should dance around this question. You are either insured orNOT.4. knowledgeable. Do you have questions they are able to answer? How about if you havevery few questions, are they trying to explain to you about the situation?5. willing to teach. IF you want to learn, a good tradesman in any field should take time to showoff their passion, especially if the customer shows interest.6. Reviews or referrals. Reviews don't make the company, there are always a few customerseager to exaggerate a "bad" interaction online. But sometimes you can gain a sneak peek intosome bad practices if there are multiple negative reviews.

Am I insured?

-absolutely. It's easy for me to prove it in a moment's notice too.

What kind of fertilization do I need?

-This is something that varies from job to job. Typically we will visit with Homeowners orbusiness owners and offer the best value first, because after a trimming, and with a little waiting,we can both learn what the tree needs. "Conserve and observe" is a standard practice in ourbusiness... If needed, we have many tools and techniques to find out exactly what is neededand here are some of the areas we inspect;a. soil sample analysisb. health Inspection above groundc. health inspection below soil level (roots)d. overall condition of immediate surrounding areaFactors include- soil type, grade or slope, nearby structures, exposure to sun and windBroad spectrum Fertilizers are always recommended, and offer a.ed at the time of service orinspection. Specific fertilizers should be discussed and formulated by a specialist in person.
