They gave an honest assessment of the options for the work for three different price points, starting from only the most urgent need to addressing future problems and aesthetic considerations. They did the job pretty quickly and according to the specifications, and will be following up to make sure the issues are fully addressed (stumps in difficult locations to remove are not re-growing). Their customer service was great.

Kyle helped us out with three trees. I had reached out to him and a couple of other companies. He was the only one to respond and quickly provided us with everything we needed. They scheduled time to complete the trimming, were on time, and did a great job on all three trees. He also gave us information to help us handle small items between big tree trimming services.

I can't say enough good things about these guys. We had them drastically trim three trees, remove two dead bushes and remove an additional stump. All of that came in well under the estimate of another company for just one tree! Kyle first came out to give us an estimate on all the work thoroughly explaining everything and was able to schedule our service for the following week. They arrived on time, completed everything within about 3 hours, and removed not only the debris from their work but also two other piles of brush we had previously removed. You can trust these guys. They know their business and we will definitely call them again if we have another need. You won't go wrong if you call them first!

Kyle and his team recently spent the day helping us with a big tree trimming and removal project. They did an excellent job taking care of exactly what we wanted and made sure the site was cleaned up nicely as well. Would highly recommend these guys for tree care needs. Kyle came out back in June to give me a quote on tree pruning and removal. We purchased a house that has a lot of trees and shrubs that were neglected for several years so there was a ton of overgrowth. Once we were ready to have him out in October, he was able to get his crew out within a week of me contacting him. Freddie and his crew were able to get our massive half-dead chinaberry tree (they are the worst!) down quickly and safely, in addition to 3 other fairly overgrown shrubs (probably 20+ft high). They kindly bucked the wood and left it for us to chop for firewood, and hauled off all the brush. Very fast, efficient, and professional work. Will definitely have them back out in the future for the other work we need to be done.

Kyle and his team were great! We lost a large Monterrey Oak this year during the hard freeze and unfortunately, it was time for it to go. Kyle was able to schedule the service quickly and for a competitive price. The tree was removed safely and the stump was ground below grade. After the hard freeze last year a lot of trees around town are dying. I talked to five different arborists and they all took one look at my pictures and said my tree was dying. They didn't even want to have a conversation about the fact that it was putting out green leaves in the canopy.
Rooted In Texas took the time to study the pictures and did not assume the tree was a goner. He laid out multiple scenarios for what we could do depending on how the tree looks when he was able to see it on site. Not only were his scenarios reasonably priced, but once he was on site he determined the tree was in good shape and really just needed pruning and some Dillo dirt.
He could've told me I needed a root injector, (one of the scenarios), and/or multiple trims with extensive canopy reduction. Instead, I feel he was just honest about the shape of my tree and charged me the least expensive job to get it in shape.
That's integrity. You don't get to see that all the time these days... especially because companies like his are in very high demand right now from that storm.

I was in need of a professional opinion regarding a tree in my backyard. The winter storm in early 2021 that hit Austin took a toll on my immature trees and I was concerned that one tree was dead at the top and needed to be cut down a bit. I reached out to Rooted in TX Tree Care and Kyle, the Owner, responded within 24 hours via email and text.
Kyle provided me with a consultation over the phone after submitting the pictures. Kyle gave me honest and fair feedback. He wasn't pushy nor did he jump to saying that the tree needed to come down for the sake of getting immediate business. We decided to give the tree a few months to see how it would do come spring 2022 and make a decision at that time.
While I cannot speak to the work given my circumstance, I can say that I was impressed by the communication and professionalism and will be using Rooting in TX later this year to trim my Crape Murtle trees.

We worked with Kyle to have a bunch of trees trimmed at a local non-profit. He walked the facilities with me, talked about the work needing to be done and why, worked within our budget, and even threw in extra when we needed it. Absolutely great service. Definitely will continue to use Rooted In Texas whenever we need anything.

Kyle, of Rooted in Texas Tree Care, and his crew completed the removal of 3 trees that did not survive the ice storm and did additional tree trimming. They are knowledgeable, especially, of the physics of how to remove large branches. They are quick and leave the area clean. Kyle is an astute, gregarious businessman. Great to do business with. I highly recommend Rooted in Texas Tree Care. I will use his service again.

We have quite a few trees in our backyard, and the recent winter storms left absolute carnage both up in the trees, as well as on the ground. It was a challenge to get service, considering everyone was booked solid. We had also recently moved to Texas, so we were not established with anyone. Kyle was quick to get back to me, and although it took a few weeks, he came out and got the job done. He was kind, and timely, the price was fair, and the quality of work was outstanding. I recommended him to our neighbor as well, and will absolutely use his services again.

I recently purchased a house that had been vacant for several years, and the yards had been neglected with overgrown trees. Trees in the front yard were so overgrown that you couldn't even see the house from the street. I knew it would be a lot of work and Kyle said it would take 3 to 4 days to do it justice but I asked him to do what he could in 2 days. He and his crew did so much work during those 2 days! I was very pleased with the results.
